The only constant in life is that there is no constant.
As Meredith Grey on Grey's Anatomy once said...
Change is literally the only constant in all of science. Energy. Matter. It's always changing, morphing, merging, growing, dying. It's the way people try not to change that's unnatural. The way we cling to what things were instead of letting things be what they are. The way we cling to old memories instead of forming new ones.
Change is unavoidable.
From each change that happens, other changes are set in motion, ensuring that the whole cycle perpetuates itself.
But, for us to go with the flow while change is happening is something that comes far less naturally.
Changing requires a quiet courage and faith that we may not feel that we can rally. It can lead to unpredictability, and sometimes to failure. It can be uncomfortable and perhaps even painful.
But we need to do it anyway…because that’s how we grow, how businesses grow, how our society grows (and, because if we don't, the world will simply change without us.)
Kane Consulting is going through a lot of changes lately.
What we're changing into isn't quite known yet. And it certainly won't be anything worthy of some sort of big, celebratory reveal. It'll still be the same name. It'll still have the same focus.
Instead, like losing weight or recovering from an injury, we'll just be making a lengthy series of small tweaks (especially to this blog) that, over time, will add up to something different...hopefully, something better.
We hope you'll join us during the evolution.
